This new ultra digital wireless technology is the solution to interference problems with wireless monitors. It provides secure video with exceptional image quality and crisp audio. Okay, so I have never written a review before but I read them all the time. I did A LOT of research on monitors because this is our first child and I wanted to make sure we kept a close eye on him. We purchased the one from Safe Baby and it crapped out on us 3 weeks later. I called them and they were WONDERFUL! I had a week old baby and they shipped us out a better replacement immediately (the Sentinel) and no questions asked, Their motto really is to get it right the first time and they will give you NO GREIF if you have a problem. This is a wonderful business and honors their word/product. The monitor has been working great and NO MORE PROBLEMS!

I have had this monitor, with 2 additional cameras, for about 2.5 years now. It's just ok.
Pros:
* good video quality
* no interference
cons:
* handheld unit no longer holds a charge & must be plugged in at all times
* charging base broke (tiny wire contacts fell out), so only way to plug in is via a direct
* plug frayed near connector & stopped working. had to buy a universal a/c adapter, as finding one that matched the specified voltage/amperage exactly was impossible. Replacement adapter doesn't fit in the hole perfectly, so it's constantly coming unplugged if the unit is bumped.
* scan mode is useless as it won't pick up any audio unless my kids are screaming at the top of their lungs. sensitivity adjustment doesn't help at all.

In summary: Not bad for actively watching my kids, but I have to use it in conjunction with an old audio-only monitor in order for me to know when the baby wakes up (then I can check the video monitor to see what's up). The technical quality is pretty good (picture & lack of interference), but the physical housing feels cheap and doesn't hold up. I'm expecting baby #3 and am looking at alternate systems. Sadly, many suffer from interference issues that this unit does not, but I don't expect my current unit to hold up much longer at all.

I originally ordered the "Home Sentry" baby monitor from konakmedia/Pegasus Shop, but was instead sent this item as an "upgrade" since they were out of the model I ordered. Once I received the model, I quickly realized that there was not a baby monitor called "The Home Sentinal", instead this is an off brand manufactured in China by a company called Kocchi's. If you do a search for Kocchis you can find their website and see the model plus read their support procedure which says you have to ship the product to them in China at your cost and if it get's lost in customs it is not their problem. I can't attest to how well this device works because it seemed cheaply made and when i realized I could never get support I sent it back.
I also find it very disconcerting that if you find some of the multiple camera packages of this model on Amazon and you click on the reviews, some of the reviewers are reviewing the various packages with different information. That means they either ordered all of the different products or one of the sellers is leaving fake reviews. The reviews are clearly written differently so i don't think they are just reviewing it multiple times because it is the same basic product.
I will say that Konakmedia was very easy to deal with and issued me a full refund, no questions asked.
I would highly recommend you go with an actual name brand and a company that will stand behind their product beyond what the seller on Amazon is willing to offer.
